Blogcharm, the blogging site that I used to use shut down. I can't say I'm surprised. Because of its promise to users that they'd 'get paid for blogging', almost all of the sites on there were people trying to make a quick buck. Blogspot suffers from that a little but not to the extent that Blogcharm did. Another problem with them was that I'm not sure if they ever really paid anybody. The forums were filled with people who had reached the payment threshold but were still waiting on their payments months later. I feel sorry for the people who were actually using it as a real blog, though. All their posts and images have, poof, vanished into thin air! Ah, well, I hope the founders find success in whatever they decide to do next. It was a nice concept.

I did not reach payout before I quit. I had 4 blogs and a lot of fun at Blog Charm. I joined Blog Mad and they got invaded with a virus and talk about paranoid...I felt I was exposing my daughter's computer to stuff with that stuff.

I still have some of my Blog Charm posts that I copied. I repost some as I started these new blogs and ditched the 3 websites.
