Wise, responsible people get an extra bit of income and stash it away for the future or invest it. Me? I complete my Courtney Love and The Smiths discographies.

Possibly true, but the way things are going, it seems we are ready to destroy the planet so might as well enjoy until we do. Not you and me personally.

I do not find my blog better than yours. I hardly go to Hobopoet anymore for lack of posting on a regular basis. I like your short and long posts. You make me smile. Like at the 4AM cravings. Your breakdown's were not funny, but you made me laugh. Especially about having to get to New Orleans.

I was going to relocate to New Orleans. No one waiting their to save me.

I spent a lot of my life stashing money away. It and my marriage disappeared about 5 years ago. Sigh.
Today I am again stashing away a little, but am also finding joy in "completing my own discographies," so to speak. But I'm too freakin old to appreciate Courtney Love. She scares me and hurts my ears!
Hope you stay in reality most of the time, and that your wanderings are brief and harmless.

Heh, I don't feel terrible about it. For the most part, I'm pretty good about not spending money. Even when I do, I shop around for the best deals. (One of the great things about the internet. If the shop has free shipping, prices can be much more reasonable online.)

Alyce - Ah, I was just poking a bit of fun at myself. They're just blogs that I really, really like and visit daily. I almost pulled Hobopoet off the list but then he started writing again. I lost a few blogs when I switched computers.

New Orleans is lovely. I went there when I was 20. Granted, I mostly stuck to the tourist parts but the architecture in the French Quarter is so different from most of the country. And the Garden District is beautiful too.

FerdC - Yuck, sorry to hear about your marriage. Yeah, divorces can end with whacked finances. Heh, Courtney Love's a bit of an acquired taste. Her music is actually rather tender compared to some other bands I like though. Disturbed, early Nine Inch Nails, etc.
