Things I've Learned in the Past Week

*Anorexics who consume 600 or fewer calories a day have willpowers of steel. I restricted myself to 1200 and still cheat occasionally. One day, I went down to 800 and still felt it two days later.

*After walking home with a backpack full of groceries, I have a whole new respect for backpackers. Especially those carrying a sleeping bag and tarp or tent. Fruit and microwaveable dinners are heavy enough!

*I know I'll get bored it within a month but, for the moment, Entrecard is stupidly addicting.

Amen to Entrecard's addictiveness. I'll start innocently clicking on sites and after a while I realize 2 hours have gone by and my lower extremities are quite numb. If I keep that up, I'll need to look into that 1200 calorie diet too.

Of course as the number of "make money online" sites "dropping" on mine proliferates, the addiction will wear off.

Hello BerryVox,
So sorry I haven't stopped by lately. I have been a bit busy with Spring cleaning, preparattions for a garden and I am giving a lot of tiem to activism. Whew! I am too tired by the end of the day.

Anyhoo, I agree with you about anorexics. How in the hell do they do it! I try to maintain 1200 calories also and give into a binge at least once a week. I hate the way my body fights with my mind. Grrrr....

Hope all is well. Have a nice weekend, what is left of it. :o)

That was some pretty random stuff, Kayla.

Hey, question. What does BerryVox mean?

Franscud - Yeah, a lot of those people speed drop. The funny thing is I speed drop past those sites and only really read/bookmark the personal diaries and travel blogs.

Titania - Not a problem at all. I would've been exhausted from just the gardening! Hope it was enjoyable. :)

FerdC - Heh, just random thoughts running through my head.

Actually, it doesn't mean a thing. One day, I was trying to come up with an internet handle. I looked around and saw raspberries that I was eating and some piece of electronic equipment that had Vox as part of its name. Hence, Berryvox.

I agree... how do they do it? When I was a teen I tried "starving" myself. I lasted about 6 hours.

Not that I want to develop unhealthy habits, but their willpower does impress me.

And I like the way you chose your name!

Raspberries and electronic equipment. It can't get any more random than that! Kayla, I love your funky brain!

Yeah to the first one. Man, I tried that in one of those teenage phases, lasted about 3 weeks and gave up on dieting forever.

I'm starting to think 90% of American teenage girls (and other first world residents) tried out either the starvation or purging thing at some point. It's like a rite of passage.
