It's a...umm, yellow bird.

My parents have a few bird feeders set up around the yard. A couple in the backyard. One just outside the front window that my cats stare at for hours. I'll never get really good shots of the birds because the screen window distorts the view. And if I try to take photos outside, well, digital zoom sucks. But, I did like the color on this one.

Those are very cute birds. It's an American Goldfinch (male).

I'm pretty sure it's a goldfinch. I saw a couple down here in my neck of the woods last year.

Lucky Lady - I find myself doing that a lot too. :)

Jess & Francis - That sounds right! My mother knows the names of all the birds but I always forget.

Delmonti - Gl to you too! :)

I bought Gail a little picture book of birds so we could tell them apart. We just changed our baffle and may have solved the damn squirrel problem. All for the sake of these little dinosaurs. Why do we do it?

Ferd - Ah, yeah. We have a squirrel problem too. The front feeder seems safe but they're always getting into the suet feeder.
