Just Randomness

Maybe I shouldn't have bicycled today. I'm probably overdoing it. I went from a few scattered walks here and there to bicycling ten or more miles a day 5-6 days a week once the snow melted. But heavy rains stopped me yesterday and I didn't like the thought of two rest days in a row. So I went to Fort Snelling and back. I didn't really look around that much. Just snapped a few photos and kept going. The fort itself is huge and I couldn't get back far enough to get the whole length of the building in. I should have walked to one of the circular towers at the corners and took a picture from there but I can always go back later.

Felt the exertion from the ride on the way home. I'd stop every couple of miles, rest, and repeat a couple of miles later. Maybe the wind and 50 degree weather had something to do with it too. I always get tired faster on the colder days. At least it looked nice out.

Enjoyed the photos. It's great that you can just get on your bike and find such nice places to photograph.
I am not familiar with your state or city for that matter...the history or the landscape, but through your lens you have provided me with a glimpse. Thank you.

TFB - Minnesota can be very pretty. I think nearly every place has its own charm and history. :)

I like how you captured the sunlight on the water in the bottom photo. You'll be riding in the Tour de France before you know it :).

Looks like some nice places to cycle... Here in London UK it's a bit hectic getting on bikes, I've not ridden mine for months now :(

Once again the photos look great. I wish I had a cycling partner.... or even a bike.

Francis - Oof, I've seen those hills. Not likely.

LadyBanana - I imagine so. Riding downtown scares the hell outta me and ours is a pretty small downtown.

Jillian - :( I'd give you my old one but Los Angeles is a long walk. :D
