Day Sixteen

Hmm, maybe it was a mistake deciding to blog for 30 days straight at this moment. My life's incredibly drab right now and there isn't much to write about. I sleep, I exercise, and I kill time by reading or playing video games until I can run off to do something more exciting. I could write about things outside myself and my own life but, really, somebody's probably already covered those topics far more in-depth and eloquently than I could. The odd thing is that I rarely criticize other people's personal blogs for doing the same thing. For some reason, I think my life has to be "OMG! Over-the-top!" before I can write about it. Oh, well. At least I have a Morrissey concert to go to in April.

Yesterday was my birthday. I didn't bother to mention it then because I want it quietly forgotten. I don't mind growing older. I just hate being the center of attention (which makes the existence of this blog seem odd). I didn't do anything special. I went on a longish walk to Lake Nokomis and back. The only thing vaguely interesting was when I noticed the unusual number of police cars in the area. One or two in that time period wouldn't be strange but I spotted five or six. They must have been quietly looking for somebody.

Happy belated B-Day. I forget my date all the time, too.
