My insomnia is acting up again. For the past week, I've been falling asleep around noon and waking up around 9 or 10pm. Normally, I can reset it by staying awake a little longer for one day. But, it hasn't been working. This wouldn't normally be a problem but I keep missing REI's open hours and I'd like to get the valve adaptor I need. I'd order it online but $5 shipping on a $1 item seems a little excessive.

I'll probably go for a short walk this morning. I'm not looking forward to it though. The temperatures are back down to 20-40 degrees.

(Day 11... was forced)

Insomnia visit me often wearing his black cloak. Don't try and fight him though, 'cos it will make him just want to stay around and keep you company for longer.
My way of dealing with such:
Never use the 'puter two or three hours before you go to bed
Read don't watch t.v in bed
Have a mug of 'Horlicks' or Camomile' Tea
No Caffine
A Lavender pillow works wonders too!
Failing all that use the 'hammer' method!Knock yourself over the head with it!

Ha, think I'll pass on the hammer method!
