The plaque and bench were put in by myself, Gary Bugella, Brian's brother and several of his friends, including Paul Schlafer and Paul Hensel. We celebrate his short life each year at the this site. He died unexpectedly at 29 in 1986. We are glad that so many people make use of this bench and are able to view the thousands of daffodils that we planted there in his memory. Gary Bugella
He was a good man, a good friend, and I miss him still. My wife stumbled across this on the web and glad she found it.
