101 Goals in 1001 Days

You know those people who say they hate New Year's resolutions? They're gonna hate me. I didn't make one resolution. I made 101. A few months ago, I came across this website 101 goals in 1001 days. It's pretty much what it sounds like, a challenge to accomplish 101 different goals in 1001 days, a few months under three years. There's a similar website at Day Zero Project that seems a little more useful for those people into this kind of thing. So, yeah. Below is my list. A few of the goals are listed as private. It's nothing like "Shoot the president" (After all, I mostly like this one.) or "Find 250 lovers." (That just sounds exhausting and not fun at all.) Just things I find too dorky to share publicly.

When The Lights Go Out Meme

To kill the boredom, I'm doing a short meme I found on BPD in OKC's blog.

1. If you had no power for 3 days what is one thing you would enjoy?
A lot of electronics are mildly noisy. When they're on, my computer and my Wii make a slight buzzing sound. Not hearing that would be delightful.

2. Could you and/or your family survive 3 days or would shit hit the fan?
In what? A zombie apocalypse? No, I'd probably be the first to die.

3. Finish this sentence. When the lights go out...

I turn them back on.

4. Do you usually know what's going on or are you left in the dark?

I'm completely oblivious to the world around me.

5. Are you on the darkside?

I'm a former refugee. I mostly just liked horror movies and some of the music though. :-p

6. Are you an internet junkie or could you survive a week without it?

I'm an internet junkie who could survive a week without it. Around day 14, I start getting edgy.

7. When you were a kid, were you scared of the dark?

I'm 36 and still keep a lamp on. Probably because of the above-mentioned horror movies.

8. Dark chocolate or milk chocolate?

Dark chocolate is icky.

9. Do you like blond hair and blue eyes or dark hair and dark eyes?

Dark hair. I never notice anybody's eye color.

10. Tell me something dark and evil you have done lately.

I'm a total goody two shoes. Intentionally doing something cruel doesn't occur to me.

11. What is your favorite story heard around the campfire?

I don't think I've ever heard one near a campfire.

12. If you were left in the dark, could you find a constellation or the north star?

I can occasionally spot The Big Dipper or Orion but I'm no expert.

13. Dark meat or white meat?

Eww. Even before I stopped eating animal products, I was never crazy for chicken or turkey.
