I've been having trouble motivating myself to go biking lately. Over the winter, I got too used to sitting around the house and playing video games/watching Netflix. But, this afternoon, I thought to myself,
'Self! You'll be miserable on your bicycle tour if you don't get somewhat in shape by July! And it's beautiful out!'
And so I pushed myself out the door and on a very short ride to a local strip mall. As I neared the end of the block, it started to rain.
'What the hell?' I thought. 'The sun is shining. How strange!'
I pushed on through the rain since I knew it'd stop within a few minutes. Once I got to the mall, I locked my bike and turned around. By then, the rain had stopped.
About a week or two ago in this post, I was a little bummed that I only caught a rainbow with my cell phone camera and not my good camera. If I believed in fate and/or God, I'd swear that it/he set me up for that moment. Because, this time, I had my good camera with me to catch not just a rainbow but a double rainbow! At the very same strip mall I had caught the first photo. Neat.
The second rainbow is faint but it's just to the right of the bright one. It's also more visible if you click on it and view the full-size version.
