Random Photos

The weather's still a bit chilly these days. Early this morning, it was in the low 30s. But, by afternoon, it had climbed up into the 50s. So I went for a quick bike ride. Some photos I snapped on the way:

Sculpture near the Richfield SuperTarget.
I looked for a plaque on or near this sculpture but couldn't find one. Too bad. And I think it's one of my favorite pieces of public art that I've seen so far.

I have an odd fondness for docks. Most lakes in the cities have one or more.

It's probably the most boring video you'll ever watch but I find this view oddly relaxing.

1. The sculpture is very, very cool!!!

2. Yes! There is an interesting mood to that location, with the peace of the little lake and the steady movement of the road traffic.

I did a little searching about that cool sculpture. The city of Richfield website has a short video on city sculptures (under commissions:art). They identify it as Aviator by Gary Prince, Bronze 25/50
