I haven't been bicycling as much as usual these past few weeks. That's a terrible mistake because, at least for me, I've found that exercise chases away depression. If I don't get some sort of physical activity on most days, the world starts looking a little bit bleaker. Which makes me not want to leave the house. Which means I don't get any exercise. Which just makes me more agoraphobic. And it turns into a vicious cycle.

So I've made a small resolution to bicycle every day for five days straight. If the weather turns dreadful, I'll replace it with a session from one of my Wii workout games.

And with scenery like this, why wouldn't I?

Minnehaha Parkway -- Minneapolis, MN

I should have brought the bug spray though. As I sat on the park bench resting, a swarm of gnats surrounded me. I already put a can into my bag.

Yeah, gorgeous park!
My riding is on and off, too. I plan to ride to work tomorrow morning. That's always fun.
I'm glad exercise helps your depression. You always sound so positive, so I'm guessing it's in reasonable control. I certainly hope that's right.

Oh, yes, it's very mild. Just an inner mood and frustration that won't go away. I'm not about to fling myself off a bridge or anything. :D
