One of the nice things about bicycling very early on a Sunday morning is how quiet everything is. Streets that are normally clogged with traffic were wide open with only the occasional car passing by. So, when a mass of gray fur stirred next to my foot and seemed to jump straight at my bicycle wheel, I nearly had a heart attack. If I hadn't braked right then, I'd be pedaling to a vet hospital with an injured and very angry squirrel in my bicycle bags right now. But, I just missed it and it glared up at me with an expression that seemed to say "You b*tch!" before bouncing away.

I think it's a crow's feather. I grabbed it and added it to the Wall O' Crap.

I love Sunday rides as well. I rode to work today. It's nice when you don't have to worry about the traffic.

Nice set of random photos! :-)
